Why did I choose my career?

I don’t have many memories about what I wanted to do when I grew up, maybe veterinary because I love animals o fashion designer. Really,I don’t remember haha

Well, when I entered at university in 2016 I don´t know what to study, I liked medicine or biochemistry but to be honest, medicine it looked so far away and my PSU score was lower for Biochemistry so I entered to Chemistry at UC.  The story about my change of university is longer than 130 words, so maybe I would tell you in another blog 😊

In my first year of university I really knew what I wanted in my profesional life. Helping people and be close to science that’s why Chemistry and Pharmacy was a good option for me but if I have the oportunity to study medicine I definitely would.

My experience at university has been so good in the academic and the social aspects. I feel very confortable here I would’nt change the university again.

I think my dream jobi it is work in a hospital and to be closer to patients, more than a lab.

My favorite movie is The Dark Knight Rises I couldn’t say a specific reason. I like the plot, the kind of photography, the colours... (If you dont know the movie is the third in the batman trilogy). Also I think Tom Hardy is a very good actor, I love how it transforms into his characters In 2013 my uncle gaves me the dvd of the movie and I watch the movie every sunday after lunch, I think I was obsessed. The movie is in Netflix now so you can watch it I love watch movies and go to the cinema. Before the quarantine I was go to the cinema almost twice a month (thanks Cinemark for the tickets at $2000). When I was a kid my mom retire me from classes to go to the cinema. I watch all kinds of movies but I hate the parody films  The last movie I saw was Pay It Forward its a very good movie. I like to see it once in a while. I like Shrek specially Shrek 2 but everybody loves Shrek

Seen from a positive point of view, it has been a good year for me. I have been able very calm in my house with my parents, we haven´t been sick and the rest of my family is fine and they haven’t  been sick either. One of the things that haven´t worked so well are the online classes. Personally, I have learned the theoretical classes, but half of our careers are based in laboratories… Also, if the quarantine had been since march, maybe the things would be better 🙄🙄 Regarding, my achievements, I have been study in a relaxed way so in the most of my evaluations I have done well. So, I hope (hopefully you too) to finish the A tests and be on vacation. I sincerely hope that you are well with your families. This situation has been difficult for everyone in different ways. Maybe I don’t know you, but if you need help, please ask for it, someone is always available. Also, with everything that happened in this week, I hope that we question our way of dealing with the situat...

online semester sucks :(

I think it is difficult to choose a subject that I liked to study in this semester online because our career have a lot of practice. Now we are without labs o we have online labs whats makes it difficult our learning. I don’t choose this subject because I like to learn it online. I choose it because this I think    the subject is very interesting. I mean pharmacology Well, the teacher generally uploads the classes, which allows me to go on my own pace and I find it positive but I can’t ask the questions I have at the moment.  The contents that we have seen are the pharmaceutical forms and their routes of administration. How the drugs is absorbed and distributed in the body, how it is transformed to generate an effect and how it is eliminated by our body. I like Pharmacology because is one of the first subjects that we have as a chemistry and pharmacy students as health students. It gives us a premise as will be our knowledge at the end of the degree....
